Flora brings ceramic forms together on the wall, connected by cord in changeable arrangements. I repeat shapes that echo botanical structures. Some carry historic ornamental patterns, while others are spare, their petal- or leaf-like forms quietly referencing plant life. Plastic cut-outs extend the shapes into the present, introducing a contemporary note alongside these recurring forms. In this way, the work considers how design continues to return to nature.
